Numerical Study of Geosynthetic-Reinforced Soil Wall Subjected to Static Footing Loading

چکیده

This study intends to examine the behavior of a GRS wall with static footing loading above it, while varying positions footing. For such complex structure, finite element modeling is handy and enables look into various stress/strain developed in numerical model. In view above, series (FEM) simulations using software (Optum G2) performed for analysis wall. The governing parameters, as width (B), reinforcement length (L), offset distance (D), are evaluated effect these factors on ultimate bearing capacity (q) settlement (s) presented this study. results depict that substantially reduced range 36% its increased 42% more than conventional retaining walls.
